Girls Exploring Engineering Summer Camp (Ages 15-18)

Young ladies explore, design, and build in this innovative summer engineering program. Curriculum may include specializing in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering. This program is designed to provide girls with the opportunity to discover the role engineering plays in medical and diagnostic devices, alternative energy, drug delivery systems, building and waste disposal systems, electronics, and manufacturing production.

 

Girls Exploring Forensics & Medicine Summer Camp (Ages 15-18)

Young ladies explore the world of forensics and discover how science, medicine and law contribute to processing crime scenes and solving complex cases. Join the CSI team and gain hands-on experience learning to collect, preserve, and analyze scientific evidence for a case as well as discover the role DNA, blood typing, and pathology medicine has on the investigation.

Participants present their cases during a mock trial to determine if the evidence will make an impact. Attendees have the opportunity to earn industry-standard healthcare certificates in HIPAA, blood-borne pathogens, and healthcare ergonomics.
