GETT Girls Exploring STEM

summer academy 14-16

A summer academy designed for girls ages 14–16-years-old who love engineering, medicine, and using their mind to better the world should participate in our week-long Girls Exploring STEM Academy!

Biomedical engineers, cool technology, and surgical practices all summed up in one activity packed week. Our goal is to present opportunities for girls to develop a passion for STEM.

Summer Career Academies

A golden opportunity awaits your child at Summer Career Academies hosted by the Chester County Economic Development STEM Innovation initiative!

Each participant will get to explore in-demand careers, boost their college applications, make new friends, and most of all have FUN.

These summer camps are the perfect combination of learning and entertainment, whereby your child will develop leadership and business critical skills through hands-on activities, mentoring and shadowing opportunities, and career exploration in our local community.

The GETT EXPO is an annual, one-day, free, in-person, interactive STEM experience for girls in grades 5 through 10

Girls who attend GETT have the opportunity to explore STEM educational pathways and career opportunities via hands-on activities as they visit expo tables staffed by a diverse group of professional women in STEM from companies and organizations across Eastern PA and beyond.

These impressive mentors not only share their STEM career pathway with the girls, but also their personal challenges, lessons learned and inspirational messages gleaned along their journey as a woman in STEM.
